Our first clean was a short one along Llandudno's West shore beach just after high tide. Although it looked pretty clean (as our beaches, often, do), after just over an hour our small party still managed to pick up a bag's-worth of litter. The usual suspects of washed in and dropped-on-the-beach litter, including dog tennis balls x2 (please make sure your dog brings their ball back to you), single-use plastic cutlery (please just say no to these) and the ubiquitous sock (no it's not your washing machine that's losing them, it's you)!!
We'll be out again on Friday 4th June, this time we're tackling a Marine Conservation Society's Beachwatch survey on Rhosneigr. Please book via our North Wales Wildlife Trust events pages.
